श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता- केचन् श्‍लोका: शारदा महोदयया प्रेषिता: ।।

1-सुखदु:खे समे कृत्वा लाभालाभौ जयाजयौ, 
ततो युद्धाय युज्यस्व नैवं पापमवाप्स्यसि


2-कर्मण्येव अधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन,
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते संगो अस्त्वकर्मणि.



श्रीकृष्ण उवाच:
3-प्रजहाति यदा कामान सर्वानपार्थ मनोगतान,
आत्मन्येवात्मना तुष्ट:स्थित्धिर्मनोरुच्यते? 



4-दु:खेश्व्नुद्विग्नमना: सुखेषु विगतस्पृह:,
वीतरागभयक्रोध: स्थितधीर्मुनिरुच्यते !!

  1. 1-Krushna sayes:
    Treating alike-
    victory and defeat, gain and loss, pleasure and pain, get ready for the fight,then: fighting thus you will not incur sin.

    2-
    Your right is to work only, but never to fruit therof. Be not instrumental in making your action bear fruit, nor let your attachment be to inaction.

    3-when one thoroughly dismisses all cravings of the mind, and is satisfied in the self through (the joy of) the self, then he is called stable of mind.

    4-The sage, whose mind remains unperturebed amid sorrows, whose thirst for pleasures has altogether disappeared, and who is free from passion, fear and anger is called stable of mind.

  2. भगवान कृष्ण कहते हैं:
    यदा संहरते चायं कुर्मोंगानीव सर्वश:,
    इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थेभ्यस्तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता.
    When like a tortoise, which draws in its limbs from all directions, he withdraws his senses from the sense-objects, his mind is (should be considered as) stable

  3. कृष्ण आगे कहते हैं:-
    विषया विनिवर्तन्ते निराहारस्य देहिन:
    रसवर्जं रसोप्यस्य परं दृष्ट्वा निवर्तते.
    Sense-objects turn away from him, who does not enjoy them with his senses; but the taste for them persists. This relish also diappears in the case of man of stable mind when he sees the Supreme.

    हे कुंती पुत्र अर्जुन!
    यततो ह्यपि कौन्तेय पुरुषस्य विपश्चित:
    इन्द्रियाणि प्रमाथिनी हरन्ति प्रसभम मन:
    O Arjun! Turbulent by nature, the sense even of a wise man, who is practising self-control, forcibly carry away his mind,

  5. तानिं सर्वाणि संयभ्य युक्त आसीत् मत्पर:
    वशे हि यस्येद्रियाणि तस्य प्रज्ञां प्रतिष्ठा .
    Krushna says:
    Therefore, having controlled them all and collecting his mind one should sit for meditation, devoting oneself heart and soul to Me. whose senses are mastered, is know to have a stable mind.
